No. 184: The COMPASS IV hardwood floor medallion - closeview

On the assembly table: a close view of the ready assembled hardwood floor medallion pattern called COMPASS IV. The COMPASS IV is a 900 mm diameter medallion whose pattern resembles an old maritime compass. The compasses are installed on the floor pointing to the north cardinal direction. One of the very often used medallion patterns in parquet or hardwood flooring installations. As a rule a medallion inlay should be placed, of preference, in a central position and in rooms that allow to be viewed unobstructed by objects placed on the floor.
